1. #LEOPARDSTOWN Willie Mullins’ Thousand Stars looks set to go off as favourite in the feature race on the fourth and final day of racing at Leopardstown, the Grade One Istabraq Festival Hurdle.
Mullins had an 11-1 treble of winners yesterday but the day’s big prize went to champion jockey AP McCoy who partnered Synchronised to victory in the Lexus Steeplechase for owner JP McManus.

2. #OLD FIRM Celtic are back on top of the Scottish Premier League this morning after Joe Ledley’s second-half header gave them a 1-0 win over Rangers in last night’s Old Firm derby at Parkhead.
Celtic are now two points clear at the top after extending their winning streak to nine games.
3. #DARTS Adrian “Jackpot” Lewis took another step in the defence of this PDC World Championship title with a facile 4-0 win over Wayne Jones in their last 16 match-up.
Next up for Lewis in the quarter-finals is Terry Jenkins, who beat Justin Pipe 4-1 last night.
4. #LOWLIGHT BBC’s popular Football League Show is set to be axed at the end of this season, according to a report in the Mirror this morning.
A BBC insider told the paper that the show is coming to the end of a three-year contract which will not be renewed, much to the annoyance of football fans.
5. #CRICKET Australia have taken the first test against India by 122 runs at the Melbourne Cricket Ground. The Aussie attack made light work of India’s batsmen this morning, dismissing them for a second innings total of just 169 runs.
