AS YOU’VE PROBABLY heard by now, the New England Patriots are about to sign Tim Tebow after an ill-fated spell with the New York Jets.
While there are some who believe Bill Belichick will use Tebow as a hybrid tight end/running back, the fact the Pats released their third string quarterback Mike Kafka suggests he will have a chance to compete for the starting job.
Of course, that’s currently held by three-time Super Bowl winning quarterback Tom Brady so how can Tebow, widely derided for his inaccuracy, hope to get the gig?
Here are a five suggestions:
1. A super-villain lays waste to Foxboro
Maybe Bane could be the instrument of Tebow’s liberation?
2. Brady becomes the first high-profile victim of the zombie apocalypse

Zombies are a clear and present danger but a superstar like Brady is unlikely to be as prepared as the rest of us.
3. Alien abduction
If aliens were to abduct us before beginning their invasion do you think they’d choose you, me or a multi-millionaire-married-to-a-supermodel-high-profile-sports-star? Thought so.
4. An act of God
We know Tebow likes an old pray, whose to say someone won’t finally answer?
5. Playing better than Brady

Perhaps the least likely scenario seeing as he couldn’t even win the Jets starting job after Mark Sanchez produced the ‘butt fumble’.
6) the kraft family become completely overrun by tebow-mania and start to run the patriots like al davis ran the raiders.
heres a realistic way he could win it:
he shows that he’s better than a 3rd backup quarterback, as a result he gets to compete for the main back up spot, wins that – Brady eventually retires (which is definitely on the horizon) Patriots then give Tebow a shot at starter. Of course this will be over a number of years – Tebow is no where near ready to be a starter again – needs to spend a lot of time learning from Brady and other QBs at New England.
Agreed, he seems to have the raw talent a couple of years learning from the best will do him no harm
5 is the funniest of all, as a pats fan I’m not sure how to fell about this
