Swansea 0-3 Everton
12.23 – Afternoon one and all. Tomorrow may be the big one – with Liverpool hosting Manchester United and Manchester City take on Arsenal – but we’ve got a fair bit to attend to over the next five hours.
First up, Everton’s trip to the Liberty Stadium. Kick-off is around 25 minutes away and we’ll have teams in a few moments.
12.27 – Swansea have had an excellent start to their second season in the top tier but will be looking to bounce back here after suffering their first defeat to Aston Villa last time out. Everton, meanwhile, are level with today’s opponents on seven points from four games.
They played Newcastle on Monday night and despite taking a 2-1 lead with two minutes of normal time remaining, had to settle for a draw after Demba Ba’s equaliser.

12.35 – For the home side, South Korean international Ki Sung-Yeung comes in for Leon Britton in midfield while fellow new signing Pablo Hernandez starts ahead of Nathan Dyer. The Toffees are without Nikica Jelavic, who suffered an injury against Newcastle, so Belgian striker Kevin Mirallas partners Victor Anichebe up front.
There’s also a first Premier League start of the season for Irish international Seamus Coleman.
12.45 – A minute’s applause underway for the victims of Hillsborough. Once that’s done, we’ll be up and running.

12.51 – Two great chances for Mirallas to opening his account in the opening first minutes. He fires a cut-back straight at Michael Vorm, then heads into the Dutch keeper’s hands at the second attempt. The former Olympiacos and Saint-Etienne hitman should really have done better.
12.59 – A misplaced pass from Jonathan de Guzman plays Anichebe through on goal and Ashley Williams has no choice but to chop him down 20 yards out from goal. The Swansea skipper is shown a yellow card for his challenge by referee Anthony Taylor before Leighton Baines can only strike the wall with his free-kick.
13.02 – Spanish midfielder Michu, who has four goals from as many games since arriving from Rayo Vallecano, times his run to perfection but sees Tim Howard out swiftly to collect a ball from deep right on the edge of his box.
13.17 – Seamus Coleman has had a quiet enough half hour at right back but gets a first opportunity to bomb forward and, after a one-two with Mirallas, finds Anichebe 18 yards out. The striker goes down under a nudge and when Coleman takes possession again, he is crowded out by several Swansea players.
13.22 – Swansea have just had their best spell of the match as Pablo Hernandez’s effort is headed off the line. The Spanish international is starting for the first time since arriving from Valencia in the summer.
13.25 – More pressure from the home side and ex-Celtic midfielder Ki is yards away from drawing them level with a brilliant curling effort from 20 yards out. Five minutes until the break.
13.50 – The second half has just begun and we’ve got some team news to bring you. Laudrup has taken Hernandez off for Nathan Dyer, who will attempt to make an impact on the right wing.
14.12 – Bad miss by Fellaini, who is found at the back post by Anichebe. Swansea still looking to create with the same style they are accustomed to.
Michu has been booked.
14.38 – Full-time: Swansea 0-3 Everton
In time added on, Phil Jagielka ensures Everton of a clean sheet by blocking Shechter shot. The Toffees continue their great start to the season and move up into second place after a thoroughly-deserved win.
