Swansea 0-1 Chelsea

Hull 5-3 Sheffield United (FA Cup)

Hello, and welcome to our second liveblog of today, follow the Liverpool-City game earlier.

Here are the teams:

SWANSEA: Vorm, Rangel, Chico, Williams, Davies, Britton, Shelvey, Dyer, Hernandez, Routledge, Bony.

CHELSEA: Cech; Ivanovic, Cahill, Terry, Azpilicueta; Ramires, Matic; Salah, Willian, Schurrle; Ba.

Fans arrive at the Liberty Stadium.

A minute’s silence has just been immaculately observed and we’re just about ready to go.

We’re underway…

Swansea have started well.

Nathan Dyer makes a break down the right, but his cross is well cut out by the Chelsea defence.

Let-off for Swansea, as Salah has just missed an excellent chance.

Ivanovic finds him with a cross, but he places his attempt narrowly wide.

Chelsea have started this game somewhat nervously.

Shelvey gets in behind the defence, but his cross eludes Bony.

Cech makes an excellent save, after Rangel’s long ball is headed on by Bony.

Swansea are controlling this game so far — it looks set to be a tough afternoon for Chelsea.

RED CARD FOR CHICO FLORES!

Big blow for Swansea, as Chico Flores receives his second red card in the space of a month.

It’s a second yellow for a cynical foul on Willian, and is probably deserved.

GOAL FOR SHEFFIELD UNITED!

Sheffield United 1-0 Hull: The underdogs have taken the lead following an opportunistic finish by Jose Baxter from a cross John Brayford cross (18 mins).

The upset is on at Wembley!

Shelvey has committed another needlessly rash foul on Azpilicueta.

Swansea have to be careful they don’t let their emotions get the better of them here.

Here’s a look at that red card incident.

Having watched the thrilling spectacle of Liverpool-Man City, I can safely say this does not quite live up to that game.

The tempo has been fairly slow, with few chances created by either side.

Dyer finds himself in another good position but his attempted cross is poor.

Swansea certainly haven’t given up as a result of that early Flores red card, but their end product needs to improve immeasurably.

Chelsea continue to probe and Ba drives the ball across the box, but no one gets a touch.

Shortly thereafter, John Terry goes down in the box after Demba Ba’s flick on, but the referee ignores the subsequent Chelsea protests.

Here’s a look at the Sheffield United goal.

GOAL FOR HULL!

GOAL FOR SHEFFIELD UNITED!

Sheffield United 2-1 Hull: Phew! Firstly Sagbo gets on the end of a well-executed cross (42 mins).

Just over a minute later, Stefan Scougall converts Jamie Murphy’s cross to restore Hull’s advantage (44 mins).

HALF-TIME: SHEFFIELD UNITED 2-1 HULL

Salah has just snatched wildly at a good chance to complete a frustrating half for Chelsea.

HALF-TIME: SWANSEA 0-0 CHELSEA

Double change at half-time for Chelsea — Eto’o and Oscar have replaced Schürrle and Ramires.

Looks like Jose Mourinho’s men are going 4-4-2.

The second half has begun…

GOAL FOR HULL!

Hull 2-2 Sheffield United: Matty Fryatt has levelled the game up again, scoring from close range following a corner (47 mins).

GOAL FOR HULL!

Hull 3-2 Sheffield United: Meyler plays Huddlestone through, and the English midfielder finishes consummately.

Superb start to the second half for Steve Bruce’s men.

Chelsea are getting closer. Both Willian and Ba have gone close with headers in recent minutes.

Jose Mourinho’s changes appear to have had an effect.

Ashley Williams fails to deal with a cross.

The ball then falls to Eto’o, but he drags his shot wide. Chelsea’s strikers haven’t exactly silenced their critics today (as of yet, anyway).

Routledge makes a brilliant solo run forward.

John Terry gets a great block to divert the winger’s shot away from goal.

The pressure on the Swansea goal has intensified considerably since half-time.

It’s difficult to see how the hosts can hold out for another half hour.

GOAL FOR HULL!

Hull 4-2 Sheffield United: Stephen Quinn heads home a cross to score against his former club (65 mins).

The Irish midfielder has only just come on as a substitute.

GOAL FOR CHELSEA!

Chelsea 1-0 Swansea: Demba Ba evades the challenge of Williams and strikes the ball home with a powerful finish (67 mins).

It’s Ba’s second crucial goal in the space of a week.

Michel Vorm perhaps could have done more to stop Ba’s effort.

He should never have let the ball slip under his body.

It’s gone quiet since Ba’s goal.

Chelsea seem content to casually play the ball across the back, with a tired-looking Swansea side failing to pose much of a threat going forward.

Ba has now gone off and is replaced by John Obi Mikel.

Chelsea are obviously looking to tighten up by reverting back to a five-man midfield.

Chelsea’s Demba Ba scores his team’s opening goal.

Good solo run from Salah, but his shot hits off the defender and goes out for a corner.

The former Basle player’s finishing has been woeful today.

Nice pic of Stephen Quinn after he scores Hull’s fourth goal.

Cech is forced to make a good save, as Bony appears to get the feintest of touches on a dangerous inswinging cross.

Chelsea are looking a little nervy in these dying minutes.

Four minutes of added time will be played.

GOAL FOR SHEFFIELD UNITED!

GOAL FOR HULL!

Hull 5-3 Sheffield United: David Meyler wraps up the win, after Jamie Murphy’s goal gives the Blades late hope (90 mins).

FULL-TIME: HULL 5-3 SHEFFIELD UNITED

Steve Bruce’s side will play Arsenal in the FA Cup final.

FULL-TIME: CHELSEA 1-0 SWANSEA

Right, that’s it from me.
