THREE-WEIGHT WORLD BOXING champion “Sugar” Shane Mosely will have to give up his prized title belts as part of a divorce settlement, US gossip website TMZ.com reports.
Mosley, who lost a unanimous decision against Manny Pacquiao in May, split from his wife Jin in early 2009 although the details of their separation are only now being finalised.
In addition to taking custody of the Californian’s belts until their three children come of age, Mosley’s wife will also be entitled to half of his earnings for the period which they were married as well as a share of the profits from future DVD and video sales.
How about that for a blow?
