The Football Association increased Suarez’s suspension by an extra seven games today after a disciplinary hearing upheld the violent conduct charge against the striker.
Liverpool immediately disputed the length of the ban but managing director Ian Ayre said that the club would wait before making any further comment or deciding on an appeal.
“Both the club and player are shocked and disappointed at the severity of the Independent Regulatory Commission decision,” Ayre said in a brief statement.
“We await the written reasons tomorrow before making any further comment.”

The ban begins with immediate effect although Suarez has until midday on Friday 26 April to appeal the additional seven-match increase.
Suarez, who snatched a point with an equaliser deep into stoppage time, clashed with Ivanovic in the second half and could be seen to bite the Serbian’s upper arm.
He later apologised to Ivanovic and was fined by Liverpool with the proceeds going to the Hillsborough Family Support Group.
But after reviewing video footage of the incident, the FA insisted that a standard three-match ban would not be sufficient for such a severe offence.
Barring a reduction on appeal today’s judgement will likely rule Suarez out until September at the earliest, leaving Liverpool to start the new season without their main goal threat.
It is not the first time that Suarez has landed himself a long suspension for biting an opponent. In November 2010, shortly before he left Ajax to join Liverpool, he was banned for seven matches for the Dutch FA for biting PSV’s Otman Bakkal.

Last season he was banned for eight games by the FA after he was found guilty of using racist language towards Manchester United defender Patrice Evra.
Today’s punishement will turn the spotlight back on Liverpool owners Fenway Sports Group who will be keen to minimise the fallout on the club’s image. Suarez, Ayre and manager Brendan Rodgers all issued statements in the wake of the incident in which they insisted that they will work to address the striker’s clear disciplinary problem.
But despite calls for Liverpool to cash in on their controversial star and sell him on the summer, Ayre insisted that Suarez will remain a Liverpool player.
How many Goals and Assists does Suarez have compared to RVP and come back to me and explain how he is the best player in the league by a country mile……
what are you gonna tell me next that next season will be your year?…..
Pablo your gas, FEAR! He’s scored only once against United and Liverpool lost that game 2:1 Liverpool are something like 33 points behind United explain the FEAR ha ha ha
What has being 33 points behind utd got to do with. Utd were the better TEAM over the season thats why they rightly deserve tge league. Suarez is better than any player on your tesm though, it has not happened in a long time, thats why you love slating him, its the same psychology as the boo boys. BTW RVP is there with him in the striker stakes, but Suarez has more to offer, thats why ges better…simples
And Ronaldo has done well in winning so many cl cups now hasn’t he.
Suarez is going to finish second behind rvp on the scoring charts and in the awards. Rightly so.
He is getting a ban and that’s rightly so.
We all know headtheball that Suarez would have won it in fairness. As for Ronaldo he has a much better chance of winning in Europe than at Utd. and we all know in our heart of hearts thats cause whiskey nose doesn’t have UEFA in his pocket the way he does the FA.
Pablo! I want to go for a pint with u. I’d get serious craic out of ya! Your one of my favs. I love Liverpool fans that are so bias. Im a United fan who dosnt mind Liverpool they evoke no hatred in me. Ill put money on it you think Ferguson has the FA is his pocket, that’s why he’s won so many titles, United get all the decisions, Fergie time. Or some other nonsense invented by the Rafa Tin Hat brigade ( you probably think 9/11 was an inside job aswell : ) ) I love Suarez think he’s one of the best in and he’s had a great season. But you probably think he’s only 1 behind Messi and Ronaldo am I right. And miles better than any player at United. Ill say one thing though if he was as good as u seem to think he is wouldn’t be playing for Liverpool,
here we go, lol, the scouse conspiracy theorists, it was big old Sir Alex’s fault for everything that has hapened to Suarez/Liverpool, delusional nonsense from Pablo. Slagging off the best manager in the history of the game as well, now thats what I call fear :-)
Paul what you on about? We’re all a bit bias in fairness thats the nature of it. I have no problem congratulating utd on winning the league they deserve it over the course of the season. All im saying is that if Suarez could have beat RVP to the golden boot in his first full (until now) season in the PL in a team thats in transition in a managers first season, then he is a better player than RVP. Heres the maths bit. If RVP is your best player, then Suarez is better than anyone at utd currently.
Depends how u define it Pablo! Suarez has had 1 and a half good seasons in the premiership and won nothing RVP and Rooney have proven track records of quality (granted rooney hasn’t had his best season, still scored 16 in 32 and hasn’t been playing as a main striker in a long time) that’s 2 strikers I’d say who are as good as Suarez, I’ve never seen Suarez in goal or play centre back so I’d say De Gea Ferdinand Vidic Evra etc etc are as good given there importance to the team. Ill take it u just mean Striker wise well Rooney and RVP have probably averaged about 20 goals a season for 10 years now. In one sentence you say United Deserve the title over all, in another you say United never win in Europe because Fergie dosnt have Euefa in his pocket like the FA which I assume means the reason United are so successful is not because of quality but because of Fergies supposed “influence” . Are we deserved winners or do we only win games because Fergie has so much influence that all decisions go our way. Which is it to be?
I’ll say one thing for you Pablo, if it wasn’t for Suarez Liverpool would currently be involved in a relegation dogfight, and as one of your previous managers would say, thats a facht. By the way, thanks for the comical input mate :-)
To be fair Pablo I’ve been on these boards surrounded by Liverpool fans! It’s not easy, your wrong on almost every count but I admire you sticking it out!
Yep almost! You said earlier Ronaldo has more chance of winning in Europe not playing with United, that’s correct given united are knocked out! So I agree : )
In Ronaldo’s last 4 seasons with Man United, he played in 3 CL finals. He has played in zero with Madrid. Try hide your bitterness mate. You are only playing in to United fans’ hands.
Typical rubbish from united fans. Suarez goal record is better overall, plus van persie was six seasons at arsenal before he put together a proper one. Before united signed him he averaged twelve goals a season. Even suarez international record is better and by the way he is a few years younger too. Typical united they think through Jim white and sky sports and cant form their own opinion. Cant wait till Yis sign lewandowski , four goals last night, granted but he will be the best player ever when Yis sign him.
Van persie puts two decent seasons together and he is the new maradona. Funny when he was averaging twelve goals a season at arsenal up unitil last season no one would have said that.
I am Sean. Said on the day that Liverpool should get rid of him but I do think 10 matches is excessive. Suarez gets 10 matches for biting but Defoe only gets a yellow card. Suarez gets 7 matches for the incident with Evra while Terry gets 4 matches for goods incident with Ferdinand. Punishment for Suarez does seem excessive.
Well said John. The game of football is turning into a wimpy sissy sport. This happens in rugby all the time. The only time you might get an excessive ban there is when you boot someone in the head. 10 match ban is crazy.
In rugby its a minimum 24 week ban after your second biting offence. Defoe got a yellow card so it had been dealt with by the officials. Suarez’s attack was not seen by officials.
John, Ref issued a yellow in the match for Defoe for the tackle. FIFA regulations prohibit the FA from taking further action against a player retrospectively if the Ref has already made a ruling on the matter. This has nothing to do with the FA being biased, one sided, incompetent etc. (Well, that last one may well be true of them).
This is a different matter however, the ref did not book Suarez, so the FA are free to investigate and intervene. Keep in mind as well that this is the second time he’s done something like this, and with his past disciplinary record in front of the FA, he can hardly score any brownie points with them to lessen the punishment.
Because a red card is the most the ref can do, and doesn’t exclude further punishment. If the ref gives a yellow card, or less, then he’s saying that’s all he felt it was worth.
While everyone else has a bit of banter, headtheball chips in with his usual lack of class. He is exactly the reason football fans get a bad name from other sports fans. Pathetic.
Another person who can see through this classless excuse for a football supporter. He was talking rubbish on another journal article re Suarez, about Liverpool supporters murdering juventus fans. He is a vile person. You would think he would enjoy the league title that they have just won, but instead he trawling journal articles about Suarez. I have always said that united supporters are worse winners than they are losers.
Headtheball is clearly a Johnny-come-lately United fan, after the ’99 champions league win is my guess, they’re all the same and you can spot them a mile away!
Hey HTB you do realise that comment of the week isn’t based on your number of posts or the amount of red thumbs you receive. Just thought I’d let you know. Maybe you can head outside, get some fresh air and (going a bit crazy here) actually talk to people
Awe chaps what’s up, can you not take anyone arguing the points with you? As always feeling victimised when another supporter says anything about LFC.
Sorry I never realised the juve fans killed themselves?
Celebrating all week, and this from Suarez just adds to it.
Champions 2013.
Biting another player seems to me to be a sign of mental instability. This is the second time he has done this and if the incident was in the street he would have been given jail. This man is needs help before being allowed back on the pitch.
After all his previous it’s a fair ban but from a footballing point of view it’s a real shame for people who love the game that we will be denied 10 games of seeing one of the best in the league play.
I’m a United fan and I enjoy watching him play as he is one of the few players who can turn a game in a split second as proved by the game at the weekend. I would also be fearful for Liverpools start of next season, 6 games without him could have their league campaign over before it has started and again from a footballing point of view the league is much better when united and pool and neck and neck.
As a pool fan I have to agree with you .But the FA could have been a bit more proactive ,he has a problem with impulse control and it’s not uncommon in top athletes .They should have suspended some of the ban and got the guy some counselling .We expect total commitment from guys who rarely have the education to deal with it.”To those that much is given, much is expected” is not a reference to money. The guy need help and I hope he gets it .
He deserves his ban, but there is never any consistency in FA punishments. I know biting is much worse than other things, but you see a difference in English, and the rest. I know most of you will jump me for this, his 10 game ban is not a surprise, deserved, but I see equally awful incidents, malicious tackles with no intent to play the ball but usually, ‘well, ref saw it, thought noting of it’ and its let go. Suarez got what he deserves, maybe more than I expect, which was 6, but listening to most people here, he will be gone completely and that will be bad for the English game. I remember when Shearer did a nasty thing on a Leicester player, when threatened with punishment, he threatened back and it was dropped… this is not right, but this is how it is. Look at how Terry reacted after his racial incident, a real ‘how dare you I am English’ attitude….
@john Johnson
Good post John but I dont think the fa can give people bans based on their previous behaviour. Based on this incident on its own i think ten matches is severe and the fa are being influenced by public outrage.
At the end of the day nobody was really hurt by his actions (as crazy as they were). Aguero could have caused serious injury to Luiz a few weeks ago and Suarez himself had his rib cage stamped on by Ryan shawcross a few months back. Where was the media and public outrage then?
I think for the players sake he should leave English football because he won’t ever be left alone by the British (and Irish) media again after this.
I’m a Liverpool fan also. I wasn’t expecting the ban to be that long, but I’m not complaining. I can never defend a grown man biting people.
I think he also needs a good slap. But he is a class player.
Here’s one of the reasons you won’t see: he shouldn’t have been on the pitch to score the equaliser, and those two points dropped could cost Chelsea millions if they miss out on the CL. Add that to the list of reasons in favour of instant video appeals.
If he was booked against Chelsea he wouldn’t have received a ban. Just like Defoe in 2006. Once the referee punishes a player the fa can’t intervene unless its a serious offence.
As a united fan I would rather see Liverpool up there than Chelsea. Plus the united pool matches would be a better spectacles.
Allthough I feel what he did was foolish and thuggish the PL as a whole cant stop loosing its top players. Liverpool would be boaring without him. (Man city dont have the same entertainment about them since Balotelli left)
There is a possibility of all of us sitting down in August to watch th PL minus Suarez and Rooney.( hope im wrong)
Its always a case of be careful what you wish for here… Theres a very fine line between success and failure. Believe me, and Mancini laments this…. if he had got RVP, would be a very different tune here. But it is what it is. I hope Rooney stays, Suarez stays, and they all stay. The game is too exciting compared to everywhere else…. If the talent leaves believe me, will be much harder to get them back. Man U need to challenge harder to win Champions League, or the attraction will be gone.Right now the Germans are going to storm ahead, Barca and Madrid, now Juve, soon very very strong and hard to compete if we do not keep what we have.
Pl soccer is a long way off Germany in regards challenging for the cl. Bayern are only going to get better. Hard to gauge if either Rooney or Suarez will be here next season.
Well lads when you think of what players the league has lost in the last 5 years its scary. (Now excuse my spelling) Ronaldo, Alonso. Fabergas, Robben just to name a few. The big names arent comming in anymore. We need these big players that provide massive entertainment. Germany will Rule for a few years by the looks of it. Premier league has alot of catching up to do.
Finally something we agree on headtheball. I also think the top teams in England are going to find it very hard to attract the top players next years. The German league is where it’s at now. The frightening thing is that Dortmund are something like 20 points behind Munich.
Let’s see what happens the Dublin player who bit Donegal forward Paddy Mc Brearty a fortnight ago. 3 match ban proposed? GAA will have to provide for a biting offence in their rule book now aswell
Suarez bite would have been alleged if it were not televised for all to see. Anyone who was in ballybofey that day could tell you that it happened and also who it was. Cynical appeal by Dublin to keep the player for the league final
FA are a joke, one rule for Suarez different rule for English player. FA and English media dislike Suarez, more focus on him than any other player. The man has been the most exciting player to watch all season and should be player of the year. Decision has to be appealed
FA Logic: Biting is now worse than making racist comments, pushing a referee, clotheslining another player and punching another player so hard their jaw is broken. He shouldn’t have bitten Ivanovich, but a bit of consistency in the FA’s punishments would be nice.
If your leaving comments on the journal it’s unlikely Suarez will ever have to face you on a pitch. Gareth bales diving has been shocking this season, yet sky, bbc focus on Suarez diving. They will eventually rid the premiership of its greatest talent. Similar views apply to their treatment of Di Canio a few weeks ago
That’s why I said if! In anyone bit me on the field, they’d be carried off, and wouldn’t be going to work the next day. But most people with real jobs wouldn’t bite people, unless it’s in the bedroom….
Peter, that’s a dumb thing to say, even by scouser standards.. The “victim” later retracted and said it was made up to gain publicity for her modelling career.
Don’t bother Brian, let the scousers have their theories. He said RVP was golden boot winner by default, he doesn’t acknowledge that he’s ahead of Suarez before this ban starts…. Bless him
I’m 6 ft tall 14 and a half stone weight and play rugby at the weekends, Suarez is smaller and lighter, he wouldn’t be throwing me anywhere! I have no doubt he’d probably take me, but he wouldn’t get off scott free either!!
I am reading most people, and Liverpool fans are agreeing with the ban, but the consistency of the FA, or lack of it is what bothers people. Your not paying attention, stop looking at your supposed bronzed chiselled body in the mirror… Man of steel releasing later this year?
Glad to see he’s gotten a long sentence. It’s his second time biting an opponent and i hope that was taken into consideration. It should stop him doing stupid things like this in the future too.
Denis Wise and Jermain Defoe have both bitten opponents in recent years yet there was no big deal but when Suarez does it he’s made out to be a demon, why is that? Could it be because he isn’t English?
I think it’s a heavy handed approach to ban him for 10 games..
He didn’t commit a career threatening challenge on a player. Break a leg or neck of opposition ! I think eye gouging in rugby is a far more serious issue. But ya don’t see any off them stealing headlines and getting the 3rd degree!!
Ok I totally understand you can’t go around biting people .. But did he break skin or tear a lump of flesh off ? It was a very stupid thing to do, but 10 games is harsh. 6 games would have been suffice.
My god.. they have only gone and done it again. If that was a British player he would have received half that sentence. Joke absolute joke. Not condoning his actions but have a good look at yourself English fa.
Lol gauis. As we all know haaland played after that and it was an injury to his other knee made him retire.
Must surely means the fa are victimising LFC.
As a LFC fan I hope he sticks 2 fingers up at English football and heads to Barce, Real or Munich. Rio assaulted Torres out of picture a few weeks back and NO action was taken.
Why would Suarez want to stay at Liverpool? I’m sure the guy has more ambition than to be scrapping for the final Europa League spot every season. Whether Liverpool fans want to accept it or not that’s the level they are at. Suarez should be at a club that is in the Champions League every season and actually has a chance of getting a league title.
It took United 26yrs to rebuild and keeping faith with a manager that most of the fans wanted sacking .Liverpool are the 5/6th best supported team in the world ,when the fair money rules kick in, proper teams Utd/Arsenal and Liverpool will not have to compete with money from Russian murders and Arab’s.
Jeff the FFP rule will only make united stronger, it’s based on profit and loss of the club not debt, UnitedHealth profit is so far ahead of everyone in the EPL that they will rule the league for years to come on barca and real come close
Nigel Il say not again for you it’s not based on overall money in the ac of a club be it in the black or the red, it’s based on year to year cash flow ad uniteds is the strongest in the world, uniteds profits for the first half of this season was over £180, the nearest anyone has come to that was arsneal with £17.1 million profit and that included the sales of RVP and Alex song
IM a pool fan but i cant see how anyone is Suprised by this. They were always going to sew it in to him. An extra couple of games because of who he is id say. They will appeal to no avail. Think they should just get on with it
I’m Irish, Evra is French. Part of French team that robbed Ireland, then turned world cup into a farce as they were concerned. Gladly would give him the finger than a hand shake. Would feel that way if man u fan too…
A total joke, 5-6 games would have been right. Apparently given the length of this ban the FA think that his attempted bite is worse than racism and is worse than deliberately breaking a players leg. There is huge sensationalism surrounding Suarez and it would seem that any indiscretion he commits should be punished more severely than another players. The FA also talk of Suarez getting some help but then hit him with this wholly over the top ban creating a massive situation for next season as the press and opposing fans put overbearing pressure on his return game. Get some help son my arse
Tom, you can’t keep blaming the fa, the independent regulatory commission, evra, man utd, xenophobia, cultural differences etc.
The guy has a rap sheet as long as my arm at this stage and eventually he/you/liverpool supporters will have to acknowledge that all this is HIS fault, nobody else’s, and accept that the punishments will get worse and he won’t be dealt with like others – much like what happens to repeat offenders in real life.
There is doubt what Suarez did was completely and utterly wrong. Lets get that straight from the start. The guy has issues when he’s playing, he’s a win at all costs player who probably suffers today the same tantrums he had as a child. From everything I hear about the guy he is a pleasure to train with. He spends every free hour he has with his young family. In the words of his wife, “something happens to him when he takes to the pitch, he seems to take out all his frustrations on the field of play” these very same sentiments were echoed by Steven Gerard. The guy needs proper counselling. Jermane Defoe had a biting incident himself but most have never even heard of it, one rule for one and one massively over the top rule for Suarez. The guy stopped his diving but received no praise for it. The only attention people seem to want to give him is the negative kind. He should have been banned for the rest of the season but not made into a criminal before a ball is kicked in anger next year. If they really want to help him then don’t create a fixture next season that does nothing but highlight the negatives and puts him behind the black ball from the beginning
Well you would hardly expect him to go home and start diving, bitching and moaning and trying to bite his family?
Guy is a pleasure to watch as a finisher, that’s where it stops.
He is a vermin of a character besides.
it doesn’t matter one iota what Suarez does during training, what he’s like off the pitch or when he goes home to his family.
he does not deserve praise for not diving any more.
the FA are under no obligation the make his return to action any more or less smooth than it will be.
the negative attention people people give him is because of his own actions.
he is “behind the black ball ” because of his own actions.
and he is under scrutiny because of his own actions.
He is a vermin of a character besides. Your words not mine, that’s judging a person. Also you used the term ” always the victim” you know as well as I do we’re that comes from and you and all the other despicable people who used that have been proved wrong in emphatic circumstances.
Nobody is defending his behaviour but 10 games is ridiculous. Considering he received for alleged racist abuse. Considering Defoe received none for his bite. Considering terry got 4 for his racist abuse. Anyone remember Ben thatcher elbow on Mendez??? Only 8 games. Suarez needs to cop on big time but both punishments by FA are way over zealous.
Defoe was booked so that is deemed to be dealt with I think. FA bent over backwards to help Terry which was disgusting. I think Suarez punishments are correct, just that JT 4 games is showed up to be half what it should have been, maybe even one third seeing his vicious outburst was caught clearly wishing Ferdinand a happy birthday:-)
From a neutral standpoint I believe its excessive, Ivanovic was uninjured and declined to make a complaint to the police, the FA have acted upon the reputation and the media ‘input’,
A friend of mine got bitten on the street and the perpetrator got sentenced to three months in jail. Suarez isn’t allowed to play football for 10 matches. That’s like a punishment you would give to a petulant child, and you’re here arguing that it’s excessive? He should thank his lucky stars that that’s all he got and accept the PFA’s offer of anger management and start sorting out his blindingly obvious issues
Good, as a Liverpool fan I think this is right. Great player but disgraceful behaviour. If I was Rodgers I’d send him off to a rugby club for a few training sessions.
Why? So he can learn how to eye gouge or spear tackle players? Or even better learn how to kick a player in the head while lying on the ground and get away with it?
All players are equal but it appears some players are more (or in this case less) equal than others, wonder what kind of ban would have been given to rooney, gerrard, wiltshere, terry or defoe….
FA are all over the place. Jermaine Defoe bit a West Ham player back in 2006. No ban no fine. You have a player touted as one of the greatest ever who cheats on his own wife by sleeping with his brothers wife. No fine, no ban-a few headlines in the papers. People talk about the children and the example given to them. I know if I was in a dressing room I would much prefer to have a player sitting beside who needs to curb his passion and reactions in the heat of battle rather than a player who rips his whole family apart in such a premeditated fashion.
So your club captain assaulting a DJ’s is good example.
Your legend that is fowler pretending to take drugs is a good example.
Your own fans causing the deaths of juventus fans is a good example
Jamie carra throwing coins into the crowd is good example.
Your kids are going to grow up perfect then if they are the role models.
Well its headtheball-the headtheball who must reply to nearly every comment on this website. You are a productive man obviously. I think you will find that the examples you have listed above were dealt with through the proper channels and correctly so. My point is that the in order to have faith in any establishment then justice must be meted out evenly to all people regardless of their race or indeed position in society. The FA are notoriously for dealing with the same situations in different ways.
Headtheball, I think all Liverpool fans are ashamed of Heysel, no need for that one. The first 2 lines could easily be Wayne Rooney, Carra had coins thrown at him, but you guys forgave King Eric for something much worse, even if he was provoked too,,,, Suarez deserves what he got, I am upset, yes, when he simply plays the game he is amzing, but so be it. Maybe he finally learns from this and matures. I just hope by then he is still in England. Cantona came back and played great still with much less temper, but as Gary Neville says, and its unfortunate, you take away that element, you take away the player inside. Rooney an example. He was fantastic when like a raging bull, but prone to rashness….
Yes actually. I think in cases where their actions are morally reprehensible then the club should take strong action and send out a message that they are role models and have a responsibility to behave themselves in a proper fashion. A lot of players have very poor moral compasses
No Paul Lee, but they should allow the fans a good long hard look at those super models for wives!!!
Football players unfortunately like the rest of us when it comes to brains…. except extremely overpaid, and having aforementioned super models throwing themselves at their feet…. damn it! Ban all footie players for a year! Let us Joe soaps have a shot….
Plenty of comments not relevant to the Suarez case, players having affairs and all that which happened etc. heysel happened too. Why can’t it be mentioned? It left shame on LFC and English football. So as role models you couldn’t point towards the fans of LFC could you?
LFC have plenty if taint from players and fans as do all clubs. This holier than though bs is laughable.
Yes, this did get out of hand, Heysel happened, and to be honest, they suffered with that stigma, plus what happened at Hillsborough. Also, basically all English fans back in that day were like this, all clubs had a fair share of thugs, if that was any other team back then in heysel, same thing might have happened, so do not throw those words lightly. I am a Pool fan, my dad, and now my son, and I think we would make decent role models in life, let alone footie fans. This mudslinging of tragic events should never be brought up. You can bring up that Giggs welsh girl anytime though…. no problems there….
U bring up the giggs thing, I will deal with heysel. Neither should have happened though.
Don’t worry I doubt u are anywhere near a bad role model. Think u need a chat with the young lad though. I have a jersey I can send u for him ;)
Maybe just have a read about Heysel and what happened. This could have so easily been the Liverpool fans who died. A wall collapsed in a ground that should never have been used. Also crowds of fans had been attacked and in some cases shot at all that weekend. Juve fans contributed to this before the game. It boiled over into the game. Of course Liverpool fans shouldn’t have charged a wall but it happened. Regrettable for all involved and something that should never have happened. But some people always want to bring it up like those who still use the phrase ” Liverpool fans always the victims” in relation to hillsborough.
Pool fans where attacked in Rome 84, then against Juve later same year in Super cup. Then in a stadium that had horrendous safety problems, little to no segregation and it became the perfect storm. Of course the fans should not have charged but it happened. It was shameful, we know that but it was going to happen somewhere the way fans where, and the way they were treated like cattle by authorities. It always takes a tragedy for those in power to actually do something, and thats in all walks of life. Funny how those who state facts never touch on this, just yell heysel and always the victim….
There was segregation, about 2 feet of chicken wire. No excuses for hooliganism, but Uefa were poor selecting Heysel, and how they managed ticketing and the separation of fans, no situational management. The critical factor was the wall fell, but Liverpool fans must shoulder a large portion of the blame admittedly.
2 feet was segregation in the authorities eyes I was trying to illustrate their negligence, and Heysel was a stadium fit for the European Cup Final in the eyes of Uefa
No playing for 10 matches or 2 & half months? That’s a long time but when Luis Suarez has a time, he should attend anger management course to improve his behaviour & visit a dentist to have his teeth unsharpened!
You all forget this is not his first bitting offence , He hasn’t learned from the last ban and probably won’t from this one either . This guy is an idol to thousands of footballing kids, what message is he sending to them
I love the way people take the moral high ground on this what he did was totally wrong and im my opinion 10 games is justified but the same people who are crucifying him here glorify others who are worse. I ask what do you think is worse biting an opponent on the arm or having an affair with your brothers wife getting her pregnant and forcing her to have an abortion ?
As a Liverpool supporter I’m totally against what Suarez did there’s no room in the game for this behaviour and I would be okay with the punishment if I thought the same would be given to English players but don’t believe for second they would
And Liverpool are shocked and disappointed!!!!!!! They need to cop on, biting another player is a unique and grossly dangerous offence, and this is the second time that this tool has done it, why he or Liverpool should be shocked of disappointed is beyond me, even Phil Thompson said he should expect a ban maybe even of Cantona proportions, if Liverpool or Suarez appeal this then they are idiots
As a liverpool supporter liverpool officals have a lot to answer for . How did they allow suarez accept the violent conduct charge & then add that he thought a 3 match ban would be sufficent punishment . Talk about adding fuel to a fire ,they were going to throw the book at him after a comment like that . 10 matches is a joke considering shawcross’s & thatchers punishment
People in glass houses. Talk about bad example for kids. Rooney, terry, giggs, Ferdinand, Keane, cantona, people have short memories. At least no one was hurt.
Are you all Fu*king thick pool supporters ???? He’s done it before !!!! Say what you want about other players past and present, as bad as what they done, they never repeated it ! Suarez is lucky its not more !
Totally over the top reaction as usual 10 games? So a little nibble on the arm where no one was injured no treatment given to ivanovic is now considered worse than racist abuse wtf? They punished the man not the offence
If he was English he would have certainly got a similar ban. Do not bring country into it. A bite is a bite in any nationality. The lengths Lfc fans will go to defend this animal is laughable.
Hurts the supporters too FA has different rules for suarez than anybody else, twice now it has happened
but have a feeling he will appeal and win,FA nothing but bias corrupt vermin
Would say evra is pissing himself laughing.
He has to deal with another issue now with his punch in the last international. Be on holidays a lot.
Bit part in eastenders.
Joey Barton got a 12 game ban last year for what he did but biting is worse than that so I would have expected a bigger ban eg. 15 games+.
Add to that the fact he has already been banned for 7 games for the same type of crime, I think he should count himself lucky he only got a 10 game ban.
Barton got 12 2 violent conduct charges together far worse in my eyes, suarez should be charged for the offence nothing else its his 1st violent conduct charge in English football,FA ain’t looking into what happened at ajax nothing to do with him,10 games is harsh 6 id be happy with
Disgusting the act by Suarez! But I think the real punishment is he will be labelled as a thug for the rest of his career, 3 or 4 games would be enough. Roy Keane ended Alfie Haalands career with the most vicious tackle I’ve ever witnessed! and showed no remorse afterwards and got only 5 games. Suarez’s bite (although an act of a complete thug) was never gonna do much damage, Keanes tackle was what he meant it to be sickening career ending attack!
Never seen so many Liverpool obsessed glory hunters in one place.Genuinely! United won the league the other night yet they care more about what’s happening with Suarez. How pathetic.
It does matter a bit if he has 200 assists and 50 goals. The ban is deserved and what he did takes away from the season he has had. No sympathy and ten matches coulda easily been more. No defending him. He’s a thug and an animal.
He will appeal but he will NOT win. The FA will NOT be seen to back down. As a united fan I think it’s excessive but when you take into account his previous history you can’t really argue. Already bit one player and racially abused another.
I think he should just take his ban, sort out his head and next September get people talking about him for the right reason.
While this is fully warranted, I feel that he only received this ban because he is Suarez. Rooney elbowed McCarthy in the back of the head; no ban. RVP elbowed Cabaye in the back of the head; no ban. Jermain Defoe bit someone; no ban.
It is ridiculous and incredibly arbitrary. Though a ban is still deserved.
I believe Barton suspension was 4 for the red card where he elbowed Carlos Tevez it was one game extra from the usual 3 because it was his second red of the season and they added 8 for two counts of violent conduct, one a kick at Aguero the other an attempted head butt on Kompany. So Suarez who wasn’t even sent off actually got a ten game ban for one instance of violent conduct while Barton got 12 games I.e just 2 more for a red card his second of the season and two instances of violent conduct that’s hardly fair and balance punishment is it? Now In most eyes Barton punishment was a fair enough but Suarez is doubtlessly the target of prejudice and example setting by the F.A. who are clearly not a neutral arbitrary body in these cases, 4 games would have been fair and balance if they were looking at all decisions on a neutral footing IMO
I cant see how this hurts swarez…it hurts the club who are without their best player for 10 games but how does this punish swarez….a 500,000 pound might….

3rd straight season with a ban of at least 7 consecutive games. Must be some sort of record.
we have seen the last of that tramp in the Premier League. Good Riddance.
You wont get so lucky to be rid of the best player in the league by a county mile
How many Goals and Assists does Suarez have compared to RVP and come back to me and explain how he is the best player in the league by a country mile……
what are you gonna tell me next that next season will be your year?…..
He doesn’t and he isn’t. And he won’t.
He did, though.
Suarez will be playing for liverpool next season, who’s going to buy him with a 6 game ban outstanding
He is better than any Utd player. Thats why utd fans come on commenting how delighted they are with his suspension. Fear.
Eh Peter he’s quality alright ill give u that but “best player by a country mile” go easy
Pablo your gas, FEAR! He’s scored only once against United and Liverpool lost that game 2:1 Liverpool are something like 33 points behind United explain the FEAR ha ha ha
spot on Marshmallow :-)
yes Pablo, us Utd fans “fear” a team that are currently 33 points behind us in the league…lol
The ban only apples in the EPL
What has being 33 points behind utd got to do with. Utd were the better TEAM over the season thats why they rightly deserve tge league. Suarez is better than any player on your tesm though, it has not happened in a long time, thats why you love slating him, its the same psychology as the boo boys. BTW RVP is there with him in the striker stakes, but Suarez has more to offer, thats why ges better…simples
Lol Pablo. Fear. Yes he single handly stopped united from winning a 20th title. ….
Now Ronaldo is better than him, but then he doesn’t play for you anymore. Wanted to win some European cups I suspect..
Cant be more happier today,he deserve everything he gets
And Ronaldo has done well in winning so many cl cups now hasn’t he.
Suarez is going to finish second behind rvp on the scoring charts and in the awards. Rightly so.
He is getting a ban and that’s rightly so.
We all know headtheball that Suarez would have won it in fairness. As for Ronaldo he has a much better chance of winning in Europe than at Utd. and we all know in our heart of hearts thats cause whiskey nose doesn’t have UEFA in his pocket the way he does the FA.
Yea that’s why Suarez is leaving , and Pablo Utd have been to a Final and semi final since Ronaldo left
Not sure what you’re saying there, but eh, ok
Ill say one thing though if he was as good as u seem to think he is wouldn’t be playing for Liverpool,
And Ronaldo won’t be in the final this year either.
Suarez won’t have won it anyway. Even before his animal act
Eh head you watchin the game??
here we go, lol, the scouse conspiracy theorists, it was big old Sir Alex’s fault for everything that has hapened to Suarez/Liverpool, delusional nonsense from Pablo.
Fear, your dead right Liverpools year next year again. Deluded
When are ye coming out of transition by the way, it’s been a while. You threatened to come out of transition around 05, but it never really lasted.
I’ll say one thing for you Pablo, if it wasn’t for Suarez Liverpool would currently be involved in a relegation dogfight, and as one of your previous managers would say, thats a facht. By the way, thanks for the comical input mate :-)
Jaysus paul, niall re europe, did youse ever hear of banter?
Too easy to wind up. I am serious about Suarez though, stick by that. Im not ‘biting’ on youse trying to tell me RVP is better..
I love indulging in banter Pablo, your not very good at it though, sure your not :-)
Pablo banter when you are wrong is it?
Yes u am watching the game. What’s your point?
Dont know bout that Niallo you dont seem to understand what it is
So ya ronaldo left united to win the European cup…. I think he already won it, he left united to join his boyhood team….. Champions 20-13
Pablo, I have you wound up like an old fashioned grandfather clock, thanks for indulging me, you’re fun :-)
Like i said too easy to wind up
Well at least he didn’t threaten to mount u Niall and near u up. :)
Some lads on here are legend.
Yeah Niallo me stomachs in knots lol. On a more serious note lads lewandowski or Falcao?
Ah so when u are beat u try to discuss? You’ve been figured out long go
both top class players Pablo, toss of a coin…
Beat? What are you on about? Whos the ref? Are you on drugs?
To be fair Pablo I’ve been on these boards surrounded by Liverpool fans! It’s not easy, your wrong on almost every count but I admire you sticking it out!
On tonight’s performance lowandowski (A+ for effort : – ) is some player
‘Almost’ every count, thats a concession eh?? I agree about Lewendowski BTW, hope youse dont get him…
Yep almost! You said earlier Ronaldo has more chance of winning in Europe not playing with United, that’s correct given united are knocked out! So I agree : )
You had me at pint….
I’m keeping the coin. Want to see these players in England….
In Ronaldo’s last 4 seasons with Man United, he played in 3 CL finals. He has played in zero with Madrid. Try hide your bitterness mate. You are only playing in to United fans’ hands.
He might be bitter but also I might have been in a coma too, what finals where they? 1: chelsea…. 2: barcelona…. .?? Not sure after that…..
Not enough if you ask me
Nobody asked you
Liverpool fan by any chance John?
Colin so how did the FA extend Barton’s to a12 game ban last season after getting sent off vs city???
Because a red card is the most the ref can do, and doesn’t exclude further punishment. If the ref gives a yellow card, or less, then he’s saying that’s all he felt it was worth.
It was for his reaction to the red card, where he attacked another player, Tevez I think
Biting a mans arm is more of a sissy act than a manly one, a manly sport consists of hard honest fair hitting not dangerous play.
That’s horseshite.
Your so sly :)
FA anti Liverpool again
Feeling victimised?
Absolutely over the top.
While everyone else has a bit of banter, headtheball chips in with his usual lack of class. He is exactly the reason football fans get a bad name from other sports fans. Pathetic.
If the shoe was on the other foot a d this was Rooney u would be on here bleating. Double standard statement.
Maybe you can head outside, get some fresh air and (going a bit crazy here) actually talk to people
I’d say the only time he’ll be outside is when he’s swapping his Man City jersey for a United one for next season
Awe chaps what’s up, can you not take anyone arguing the points with you? As always feeling victimised when another supporter says anything about LFC.
Sorry I never realised the juve fans killed themselves?
Celebrating all week, and this from Suarez just adds to it.
Champions 2013.
Well Nigel we could hardly expect you to comment on been a league winner now could we?
Well used to winning.
Biting another player seems to me to be a sign of mental instability. This is the second time he has done this and if the incident was in the street he would have been given jail. This man is needs help before being allowed back on the pitch.
That will leave a bad taste in his mouth.
*are neck and neck..
PFA have offered anger management.
@john Johnson
Seems about right.
Now can we move on?
Hmmm, I dunno. Didn’t Cantona get an 8 month ban and a criminal conviction for THAT kick? Suarez got off lightly. And I’m a Liverpool fan.
I’m a Liverpool fan also. I wasn’t expecting the ban to be that long, but I’m not complaining. I can never defend a grown man biting people.
I think he also needs a good slap. But he is a class player.
“We are awaiting the reasons”
He bit someone. Like an animal would. For no reason. Those are the reasons.
Here’s one of the reasons you won’t see: he shouldn’t have been on the pitch to score the equaliser, and those two points dropped could cost Chelsea millions if they miss out on the CL. Add that to the list of reasons in favour of instant video appeals.
Yeah if he had kicked that field goal, he could have won the Heineken Cup for Chelsea United.
If he was booked against Chelsea he wouldn’t have received a ban. Just like Defoe in 2006. Once the referee punishes a player the fa can’t intervene unless its a serious offence.
Suarez will be seen celebrating and punching the air in the tunnel on the final day of the season when Chelsea are pipped for top 4.
John, regardless, I think most would be too, considering the greed for money chelsea brought into the english game…
Agreed Graham.
Not good for the league we all love…..
Biting has no place in any sport his right to get a 10 game ban
Let’s see what happens the Dublin player who bit Donegal forward Paddy Mc Brearty a fortnight ago. 3 match ban proposed? GAA will have to provide for a biting offence in their rule book now aswell
You mean alleged bite, of course.
So he is allowed to bite players because he is good?
He’s lucky he’s not in hospital!! If he bit me he’d never play football again! I’d have broken his leg, and shown no remorse or offered any apology!
Defoe bites Mascherano = 0 game ban
Suarez bites Ivanovic = 10 game ban
Terry racist remarks = 4 game ban
Suarez racist remarks = 8 game ban
FA Logic: Biting is now worse than making racist comments, pushing a referee, clotheslining another player and punching another player so hard their jaw is broken. He shouldn’t have bitten Ivanovich, but a bit of consistency in the FA’s punishments would be nice.
Don’t forget hazard kicking a kid, 3 games
Rational, intelligent and well thought out input there Dave xx
And factual Shinners, you forgot factual.
Victims?
Always
In the words of Effin Eddie,’there’s no crut at all to whats happening’!
I reckon he’d take you David.
I doubt it, he falls over a gust of wind…
He will bite himself yet. Must must be a cartoon there on him and Andy goram.
Hope he appeals it and its doubled !!
Bless him
Now c’mon David, these are are bigger than they appear on TV and super strong and fit, he would have tossed you around hulk avengers style…. :)
I’m 6 ft tall 14 and a half stone weight and play rugby at the weekends, Suarez is smaller and lighter, he wouldn’t be throwing me anywhere! I have no doubt he’d probably take me, but he wouldn’t get off scott free either!!
Tell that to E-Harmony…
No need thanks
David you big animal ya, will you stop embarrassing yourself!!! E-harmony classic
In not the ones defending a cheating biting racist
I am reading most people, and Liverpool fans are agreeing with the ban, but the consistency of the FA, or lack of it is what bothers people. Your not paying attention, stop looking at your supposed bronzed chiselled body in the mirror… Man of steel releasing later this year?
Where did I say chiseled? I’m quite fat.
Well, I did say ‘supposed’ and you did build yourself up. Thanks for the clarification, also lots of meat on you for Suarez….
No! Because he’s an ar****le.
He needs to Kop on
He got of light!
*Off
I think it’s a heavy handed approach to ban him for 10 games..
I agree ten games a farce
My god.. they have only gone and done it again. If that was a British player he would have received half that sentence. Joke absolute joke. Not condoning his actions but have a good look at yourself English fa.
Racial abuse: 8 match ban for Suarez, 4 for Terry.
Biting: 10 match ban?
It’s morally disgusting but ‘violent conduct’ should be based on the likelihood of causing serious injury, not moral outrage.
And yes, I’m a Liverpool fan, but I’d say the same if it was a United player.
This is violent conduct: http://www.dailymotion.com/video/xh17rw_ben-thatcher-elbow-on-pedro-mendes_shortfilms#.UXfs7o40_dk
He got 8 games.
Violent conduct with intent here, 3 match ban and £5,000 fine http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p_st29mlQwU
Ah a post by Jason mentions united. Quelle surprise.
Yup, any of those mega clubs will welcome a proven racist with cannibal instincts, with open chequebook. That comment is Blinkered to say the least.
he is right tho,to be fair at the end of the day going forward
Russia bound. Anzhi will take him
The korawi tribe will certainly sign up.
Sean the problem is they would take him ,at the moment football is all about the money
hehehe, thought that Rio kick was funny, especially his reaction when he realized he was caught… classic..
Will knock a few pounds off his transfer fee.
Why? He recently signed a contract extension. LFC have no financial need to sell him on the cheap.
Suarez wanting to leave doesn’t mean LFC have to let him go on the cheap. I’m sure buying out his contract wouldn’t be cheap.
There are plenty of clubs with lots of money to spend. Why not Man City, PSG, Barca or Madrid?
It took United 26yrs to rebuild and keeping faith with a manager that most of the fans wanted sacking .Liverpool are the 5/6th best supported team in the world ,when the fair money rules kick in, proper teams Utd/Arsenal and Liverpool will not have to compete with money from Russian murders and Arab’s.
Jeff the FFP rule will only make united stronger, it’s based on profit and loss of the club not debt, UnitedHealth profit is so far ahead of everyone in the EPL that they will rule the league for years to come on barca and real come close
I’ve been listening about this FFP for years, I doubt it will be enforce
Almost sent something rude, but your name is small retort, not small ret…….
Lol. But united have more debt than anyone In the pl.
Your wasting your time. Maths just confuse him.
It was easier years ago, just had to add up the program and pie sales….
And scarves
Bit excessive maybe?
He’d gnaw an apple through a letterbox with those nashers !
IM a pool fan but i cant see how anyone is Suprised by this. They were always going to sew it in to him. An extra couple of games because of who he is id say. They will appeal to no avail. Think they should just get on with it
Had previous in holland and he didn’t learn. Racist ban and he didn’t learn.
Defoe didn’t have previous. He might cop on now. But it’s unlikely.
What did he not learn from his ban for racism. Can you explain that
You’ll need to ask him. I’m not a racist cannibal so thankfully don’t understand the thinkings of a thing like him.
He failed to shake Evra’s hand at OT
Should have been banned for that too.
Yeah he should be banned for not being a Man U player
Good point Gearoid busy ring my buddies in the fa and see can we sort it.
We are all heading out on the beer tonight after the award.
Well said tom collins
Tom, you can’t keep blaming the fa, the independent regulatory commission, evra, man utd, xenophobia, cultural differences etc.
The guy has a rap sheet as long as my arm at this stage and eventually he/you/liverpool supporters will have to acknowledge that all this is HIS fault, nobody else’s, and accept that the punishments will get worse and he won’t be dealt with like others – much like what happens to repeat offenders in real life.
Always the victim. Maybe ask Suarez to grow up.
Of course you would know wouldn’t you. Yeah we all judge players as people from what we see on tv. Joker
i’m not judging anybody as a person! that’s the whole point!
he’s been judged by his actions on the pitch. hes been judged as a footballer.
He is a vermin of a character besides. Your words not mine, that’s judging a person. Also you used the term ” always the victim” you know as well as I do we’re that comes from and you and all the other despicable people who used that have been proved wrong in emphatic circumstances.
Erm, I never said any of those things…
Chewy Suarez :-)
New kids daytime TV programme on Liverpool TV, up next its ‘Chewy the Racist’.
From a neutral standpoint I believe its excessive, Ivanovic was uninjured and declined to make a complaint to the police, the FA have acted upon the reputation and the media ‘input’,
“Stressed out Liverpool Supporter” yeah, seems neutral to me…
Your no more neutral than Suarez. You do realise everyone can see your profile. Epic fail
Has he played his last game for Liverpool?
Getard do you really think players should be banned/fined for having affairs?
Yes actually. I think in cases where their actions are morally reprehensible then the club should take strong action and send out a message that they are role models and have a responsibility to behave themselves in a proper fashion. A lot of players have very poor moral compasses
No Paul Lee, but they should allow the fans a good long hard look at those super models for wives!!!
Football players unfortunately like the rest of us when it comes to brains…. except extremely overpaid, and having aforementioned super models throwing themselves at their feet…. damn it! Ban all footie players for a year! Let us Joe soaps have a shot….
Lol tool comment again gertard. U again think that the fa should get involved in affairs? Like the did with the DJ’ badger.
Graham agreed on your points but if the op wishes to think LFC is pure then it’s laughable.
Please do not break my thoughts… in a good place here… wait a minute….. whats the 6’4″ Adonis dude from above doing in here!!
I took my high heels off only 5ft 2 now.
nice feet…
Why on earth bring Heysel into this, just to try score points in a stupid row about role models
Super Models, not role models…
U always liked my feet graham
Didn’t read the whole conversation to honest, there was a stupid out of place Heysel comment and something about role models was mentioned
No place for Heysel comment
Probably not but it did happen. As there was no call for giggs affair. Not football related.
I have a jersey I can send u for him ;)
yeah, he spilled some milk, thanks, send it over… your very kind… When you say you will deal with the giggs thing, you mean the woman? :)
Nah she wouldn’t have me. Tried her twice but she wouldn’t take it in her hand.
Stretch out your arm, roughly two feet…. I do not call that segregation. Also we did shoulder all the blame, not proud.
2 feet was segregation in the authorities eyes I was trying to illustrate their negligence, and Heysel was a stadium fit for the European Cup Final in the eyes of Uefa
The Summer Holidays have come early for Suarez.
Last jan them holidays started
Well he got a 7 game ban for biting before and didn’t learn his lesson, maybe this time he will
No playing for 10 matches or 2 & half months? That’s a long time but when Luis Suarez has a time, he should attend anger management course to improve his behaviour & visit a dentist to have his teeth unsharpened!
Ivanovic should get checked for weils disease.
How dare Liverpool be “shocked at the severity”. No matter how good a footballer he is, he must learn to behave as a human being!
Very excessive ban, but deserved something. Shame really. He ruined what was left in the season for us, even though it was very little.
As a Liverpool supporter I’m totally against what Suarez did there’s no room in the game for this behaviour and I would be okay with the punishment if I thought the same would be given to English players but don’t believe for second they would
And Ivanovich is a Saint ??? Right !!
They’d be mad to appeal. Could only see that ending up worse in terms of games banned!
Rumour has it he will be auditioning for the new series of ‘The Walking Dead’ during his time off.
Christ, bore off the lot of you.
Don’t know why his shocked with 10 game ban! Thug!
I hope he’s not going tooth ry and appeal it. I’ve a filling he might.
Liverpool will be starved of goals now
He should be banned for one year.
10 games…bit a-harsh, maybe instead he should have been born British and white then he’d of got half of that!
all i hear is if it was rio or jt itd only be 3 games…well if it was a dog that did it it would be put down so whats your point?
That’s a very true point. If it was in temple bar he would be facing a jail term.
Did Defoe get a ban and how many games for biting anyone know
No ban, yellow card
If he was English he would have certainly got a similar ban. Do not bring country into it. A bite is a bite in any nationality. The lengths Lfc fans will go to defend this animal is laughable.
Hurts the supporters too FA has different rules for suarez than anybody else, twice now it has happened
but have a feeling he will appeal and win,FA nothing but bias corrupt vermin
Would say evra is pissing himself laughing.
He has to deal with another issue now with his punch in the last international. Be on holidays a lot.
Bit part in eastenders.
Brookside
Joey Barton got a 12 game ban last year for what he did but biting is worse than that so I would have expected a bigger ban eg. 15 games+.
Add to that the fact he has already been banned for 7 games for the same type of crime, I think he should count himself lucky he only got a 10 game ban.
Given all his previous he can have no complaints, if he appeals they should let him play until an appeal in the summer then increase it to 12
Barton got 12 2 violent conduct charges together far worse in my eyes, suarez should be charged for the offence nothing else its his 1st violent conduct charge in English football,FA ain’t looking into what happened at ajax nothing to do with him,10 games is harsh 6 id be happy with
Disgusting the act by Suarez!
John cotter….ppfff idiot
It does matter a bit if he has 200 assists and 50 goals. The ban is deserved and what he did takes away from the season he has had. No sympathy and ten matches coulda easily been more. No defending him. He’s a thug and an animal.
Exactly Alan
He will appeal but he will NOT win. The FA will NOT be seen to back down. As a united fan I think it’s excessive but when you take into account his previous history you can’t really argue. Already bit one player and racially abused another.
I think he should just take his ban, sort out his head and next September get people talking about him for the right reason.
Kevin seemingly they don’t take previous into account. They will probably reduce it to 8 in line with the racist ban.
I’m sure it was taken into consideration that he’s a repeat offender. Ya gotta learn! No Biting! I hope they gave him a slap on the snout as well.
Justice for ivanovic
Should have been 8 games. 25 games banned now in 3 seasons. Some role model
He should have got six months in prison.
10 games? A fair chunk to swallow.
Suarez has been banned for 25 matches since October 2010 and not received one red card, yet
He got it because he deserved it. And he will continue to get banned.
This victim card is do worn out
Poor little cannibal, ten matches before he gets to feed again
This guy s a serial offender. That’s why it’s 10 matches. He doesn’t learn from previous experience. Simple as.
He was trying to get a taste of champions league football
Justice
As thugs go This clown is worse than Joey Barton this is his second offence for biting u cant defend him,
Joey Barton got 12 matches though. So what’s the difference.
As a neutral observer dare I say that this sentence is eh, medium to rare or well done?
Who let the dog out?(biting people) GGMU!!!
I cant see how this hurts swarez…it hurts the club who are without their best player for 10 games but how does this punish swarez….a 500,000 pound might….
That’s such a minor punishment. If someone did that on the street there’d be an arrest, probably jail or at least a major fine.
Thug should be banned altogether. Just because he’s a footballer does not mean he’s above the law.
Shite jack
