UCD EARNED A much-needed point at the Belfield Bowl this afternoon, as they drew 1-1 with St Patrick’s Athletic.
Chris Forrester’s composed finish had given Pat’s a deserved lead just before half-time.
However, the Students fought back on 70 minutes, with Robbie Benson converting from a Samir Belhout cross.
Pressure on the UCD goal intensified late on, but the hosts held out to gain a valuable.
Nonetheless, the result still leaves UCD firmly placed at the bottom of the Airtricity League, while the Pat’s title challenge appears to be waning.
