AFTER LA CLIPPERS owner Donald Sterling was turfed out of the NBA for making racist comments, former Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer bought him out after a legal battle.
Last night was Ballmer’s introduction and he was very enthusiastic. In fact, he was, as the Americans would say, pumped and jacked to be in the building.
We haven’t seen an owner get so passionate about their team since a half-cut Delia Smith snarled “let’s be having you” at the Norwich faithful, which likely resulted in their immediate relegation.
Clippers fans will be hoping that their team react a little better to their owner’s enthusiasm than Norwich did to Smith’s. Oh, and in case you don’t have any previous knowledge of how big of a nutter Steve Ballmer is, take a look at this.
