Watch Stephen O'Neill's amazing points for Tyrone against Kildare

Mickey Harte reckoned his forward’s scores were worth the entry fee alone in Croke Park yesterday.

MICKEY HARTE RECKONED they were so good that they were worth the entry fee to Croke Park on their own.

And it’s hard to argue with the Tyrone manager’s view of his attacker Stephen O’Neill’s stunning brace of points in yesterday’s clash against Kildare.

The attacker notched two beauties from ridiculous angles on either side of the pitch in the closing stages.

His manager watched on as O’Neill clinched Tyrone’s 2-15 to 2-11 Division 1 league semi-final win and he was left greatly impressed.

“It just shows the class player that he is. I mean it’s worth coming to Croke Park to see those scores alone.

“When people talk about the entry fee being worth it to see some players, I don’t think you’ll see better scores than the last two that he took.

“The angles he kicked those points from. I would love to see them again.

“Nobody came close to Stevie to delivering what we needed at the time it was needed. That’s what great players do.

“They get the scores when they are needed and when the pressure is on.”

Am a dub and he has given us some headaches in the past but have to say I love watching him play. In 2005 he was unplayable . An all tone great in my humble opinion . After the dubs would love to see Tyrone do it again this year
