Spurs fans celebrate an imaginary goal to take their minds off 4-0 hammering at Anfield

Meanwhile, the home fans celebrated four actual real-life goals.

IT WAS ONE of those away days with nothing to shout or even smile about.

But while their team was played off the park by Liverpool on Sunday, the Tottenham Hotspur fans celebrated in the stands.

After chanting “Let’s pretend we scored a goal,” they did just that.

There’s nothing like a bit of gallows humour to take your mind off a 4-0 defeat and a long trip back to London.
