TEAM IRELAND WILL return home tomorrow with a dozen medals after a successful Special Olympics World Winter Games in South Korea.
The Irish contingent now have three gold, six silver, three bronze and six place-ribbons after the final day of action in PyeongChang earlier.
Katherine Daly from Dalkey and Stuart Brierton from Sallynoggin, Co Dublin both added silver medals to the Irish tally thanks to performances in the Slalom Novice Division event.
In the Slalom Intermediate Division, Lucy Best from Lisburn, Co Antrim and Ryan Hill from Richhill, Co Armagh took fourth place in their respective races while Gary Burton from Sallynoggin finished sixth.
The athletes are due to touch down in Dublin Airport at 9.25pm tomorrow, where they will be greeted by family members, friends and supporters.
