Six Nations: Scotland unchanged while Gatland drafts Hook at out-half

The teams are in ahead of Saturday evening’s Six Nations showdown at Murrayfield.

ANDY ROBINSON HAS opted to stick with the same starting 15 ahead of Wales’ trip to Murrayfield on Saturday.

There were fears that scrum-half Rory Lawson and wingers Max Evans and Nikki Walker may have been sidelined by knocks picked up during last weekend’s defeat to France, but all three have recovered in time to retain their places.

Johnnie Beattie is yet to return from his injury lay-off which means that Leinster’s Nathan Hines starts at blindside flanker once again.

Scottish Rugby also confirmed this afternoon that Robinson has signed a contract extension which will see him take charge of the side beyond the 2015 Rugby World Cup in England.

Meanwhile, Warren Gatland has been forced to make two changes to the side which he fielded in last Friday’s tournament opener.

Out-half Stephen Jones sustained a minor neck injury last weekend and did not train fully during the week. He has been replaced by James Hook.

The vacancy at full-back left by Hook’s move to ten has been filled by Lee Byrne, while Ryan Jones comes in for Andy Powell  in the back row.

The game kicks off at 5pm on Saturday evening.
