Six Nations golden moments: Italy’s six-minute blitz in Murrayfield, 2007

Today’s trip down memory lane is dedicated to TheScore.ie’s Italian readership. Remember those six minutes in Murrayfield?

AS WE COUNT down to Saturday’s Six Nations kick-off, we’re reliving one of our favourite tournament memories every day this week. What better way to whet the appetite…

Italy have been involved in the race for  the Six Nations wooden spoon more times than they’d care to remember, so when they do have a big win, everybody tends to enjoy it.

So how about this clip from Murrayfield in 2007? The home of Scottish rugby was left in stunned silence as the Azzurri ran in three tries in the opening six minutes, setting themselves up for their first-ever away win in style.
