Shelbourne FC apologise for the lack of tea at their ground on Friday

“We fully expect to be up-and-running again for the game v Bray Wanderers,” a statement added.

SHELBOURNE FC HAVE apologised after their fans were unable to purchase tea in Tolka Park at their game against Wexford Youths on Friday.

The club released the following statement, via their official website, on the matter:

“Apologies, to all those who regularily purchase the cups of tea from the Reds Shop at Tolka Park, for the unavailability of your ‘cuppa’ on Friday night.

“Due to circumstances completely outside of our control, we were unable to provide this service at the Wexford Youths game.

“We fully expect to be up-and-running again for the game v Bray Wanderers on Monday night – and look forward to supplying you all, once more, with that reviving ‘cuppa’.”

TheScore.ie was unable to confirm reports that there would also be coffee available at the upcoming game.
