GOAL for Tyrone: Cavanagh bursts through the Roscommon defence and matches Mannion’s score. It’s back to a point again. Roscommon ahead: 1-7 to 1-6
Roscommon are playing very well at the moment. Senan Kilbride, in particular, is catching the eye but the question now is whether they will be able to maintain their momentum or not.
Peter Harte has the teams level once again. That seven times in the first half already – so much for Tyrone being hot favourites for this one! 1-7 to 1-7

Roscommon’s Mannion levels matters with the first score after the break. Tyrone hit straight back though – McGuigan getting his second point on this occasion. Tyrone ahead: 1-10 to 1-9.
Mark Donnelly gets on the score sheet with a fine point to move Tyrone two ahead. 1-11 to 1-9
Tyrone are moving up a gear here. Points from Harte and Philip Jordan move them 1-13 to 1-9.
Sean O’Neill breaks up the field and adds another point to Tyrone’s tally. It’s one-way traffic at the moment and Roscommon badly need a score.
McDermott gets the Rossies’ scoreboard ticking over again but Mulligan, on at the break, hits back for Tyrone.
Two more scores from Shine and Mannion sees the Roscommon fightback continue. There are now two points between the teams. Tyrone ahead: 1-15 to 1-13
Dooher and Mulligan have made a difference since coming on but the Rossies are getting more ball in recent minutes.
Shine’s latest effort has fallen short of the target. Time is ticking away for the Connacht side at this stage.
The next vital score comes for Tyrone as Colm Cavanagh fists the ball over the bar – his second point of the game. Roscommon need to main focus and discipline here as they’ve had a couple of players booked in recent minutes and need to be at full strength if they are to have any chance.
Harte has opted to introduce even more experience from his bench in the form of Enda McGinley.
Another kick from Harte restores a four-point lead for Tyrone 1-17 to 1-13.
Points from Conor Gormley and another free from Harte see Tyrone almost out of reach.
A John Rogers free pulls a point back for Roscommon but their opponents are still ahead: 1-19 to 1-14
Cavanagh is the man that seals it surely – a second goal suggests he is back to his very best. 2-19 to 1-14
GOAL for Tyrone: Disaster for Roscommon. Mark Donnelly fires past Claffey. 3-19 to 1-14
Harte still has time to bring Stephen O’Neill into the action, though he’s on the pitch just seconds before the full-time whistle blows.
FULL TIME: Tyrone 3-19 1-14 Roscommon. Tyrone lead by a single point at the break but had enough experience about them to pull away and survive a mini revival from Roscommon in the second half. An 11-point winning margin isn’t quite reflective of what the Connacht side contributed to the match but it is Harte’s men that go on to face Dublin.
