IRISH FOOTBALL FANS will be able to watch Ireland’s international friendly against Poland this month on Setanta Sports.
The station have today announced they’ve secured the rights to the game in Poznan on Tuesday, 19 November. The game will be the second game of Martin O’Neill and Roy Keane’s tenure, coming days after their first against Latvia in Dublin.
The game will be shown live on the Setanta Ireland channel which is free on UPC and e-vision and is part of the five channels on the Setanta Sports Pack on SKY.
RTE can shove that TV license add up it’s hole
I thought sky had bought rights to friendly games?
Further up so
Rte is a disgrace. That add they continously show just optimises every thing they are. Government propaganda channel.
Only the home friendly games…
Don’t know what you’re getting frustrated about Andrew, if they were to start paying to show content that people might want to see they’d have to cut the wages of their ridiculously overpaid superstars and as this is Ireland I think it’s safe to assume that this isn’t on the cards!
You can stream the game live for free lads and ladies. On Firstrowsports just google it few mins before the game starts.
Sky have the rights to irish home games ,rte have to show competitive games ,away games I competition is usually rte but away friendlies are you for anyone to bid on
Thanks colm
dont have setanta … f**k sake
Nobody would of been interested in this game, before the new managerial announcement.
Good stuff…thought we would have to endure TV3′s lower than low definition picture…now we can get the game on SetantaHD.
Is there a Setanta HD channel but you’re right, anything is better than TV3!
Loads of site streaming football for free these days firstrow , vipstand, streamhunter…. just google them.
So is it worth investing in setanta I’m red thumbing this one lads
Sky not listing Ireland v Latvia this Friday. Neither are RTE. Wonder who’s showing it.
