Seán Bán Breathnach is celebrating 45 years on air, so here's a chance to revisit his classic Katie Taylor commentary

No better excuse to recall the Irish boxer’s triumph.

SEÁN BÁN BREATHNACH this week celebrates 45 years on air, and the commentator has certainly witnessed some moments to remember during his time in the job.

One of those that stands out is Katie Taylor’s phenomenal London Olympics triumph in 2012.

And Bán Breathnach was of course on hand to describe the action, perfectly capturing the emotion of the occasion with his heartfelt account of proceedings.
