#SaveOurClub: Dundalk announce fundraiser friendly

The Lilywhites will play a local amateur selection on 5 August.

DUNDALK FC ARE to play a fundraiser friendly against a selection of local amateur talent as part of ongoing efforts to secure the club’s financial future.

Former Lilywhite legend Tommy McConville will take charge of the select XI for the “Save Our Club” friendly which kicks on Bank Holiday Sunday, 5 August, at 5pm.

Tickets for the game cost €5 each and the match will be followed by Project Oriel, a fundraising concert headlined by The Trampz and also featuring Jinx Lennon, The Mularkeys and the Curtain Thieves. Tickets for the concert cost €10.

The friendly has already received plenty of support from former players and from the local community. League of Ireland veteran Dave Rogers is to sponsor the kit while the match officials, tickets, trophy and use of the facilities have all been generously sponsored as well.
