WALES SKIPPER SAM WARBURTON lasted just five minutes of today’s Heineken Cup clash between Cardiff Blues and Sale Sharks before being withdrawn with a hand injury.

It transpired that the flanker had suffered a dislocated finger and he was taken from the City of Salford Stadium to a nearby hospital for treatment, where he tweeted this picture, along with: ”Sitting in A and E waiting to get my finger pop back in, hurry up!!”

Warren Gatland won’t be best pleased to hear about the injury with the autumn internationals around the corner.
