Ryder Cup: Bradley and Mickelson strike first for US

The US duo got the first points on the board with a 4 and 3 victory over Europeans Luke Donald and Sergio Garcia.

THE AMERICANS DREW first blood as Keegan Bradley sank a long putt on the 15th hole Friday to give the US a 4 and 3 victory over Europeans Luke Donald and Sergio Garcia.

Bradley and Phil Mickelson finished off the match by winning four consecutive holes and defeated the former unbeaten pairing of Donald and Garcia.
