RYAN O’DWYER IS gearing up for Sunday’s Leinster final against Kilkenny but looking after his young son Oisin helps to take his mind off the Croke Park showdown
O’Dwyer features tomorrow night on RTÉ’s new GAA magazine show ‘Thank GAA It’s Friday’, with the opening programme to broadcast on RTÉ 2 at 7.30pm.
The former Tipperary player believes that fatherhood has helped him mature. Here’s the evidence.
The first episode also features Leitrim’s Emlyn Mulligan on match day during their recent qualifier defeat to Down, the oldest hurley making family in the country (the Larkin’s from Killimor) and Darragh O Sé counts down his most memorable Cork-Kerry moments.
Please tell me Marty Morrissey won’t be presenting this show!
What a ridiculous name for a show
Don’t think it’s so bad! Works in with the whole TGIF thing anyway.
I’d get over the name if rte would take the GAA seriously outside championship. I know it would require a bit of creativity but the season doesn’t end when inter county finishes up.
