Roy Keane and Irish football stars welcome four-year-old cancer patient Merryn Lacy to squad training

Martin O’Neill’s squad took time out from the preparations for tomorrow’s international friendly.

LAST MONTH, YOUNG Dubliner Merryn Lacy got to meet her rugby heroes at Carton House.

And today the four-year-old – who has stage four Neuroblastoma cancer and is currently undergoing frontline treatment and chemotherapy in Crumlin — got to meet Roy Keane and Ireland’s top footballers.
