Angry Roy Keane called round to Tom Cleverley's house after Villa bust-up reports

The Sun claims that the Ireland assistant waited for 15 minutes outside the house of the on-loan player.

FORMER ASTON VILLA number two Roy Keane called round to Tom Cleverley’s house to accuse him of leaking rumours that the assistant left the Midlands club owing to a bust-up, according to reports in The Sun today.

The paper reports that Keane stood for 15 minutes outside the house of the on-loan Villa player, before eventually leaving after no one answered, with CCTV footage understood to show the 43-year-old waiting impatiently as Cleverley failed to reply.

The ex-Man United star has reportedly since absolved Cleverley from blame as he bids to discover who spread the rumour that a bust-up with Gabby Agbonlahor hastened his exit from the club.

Villa have officially denied suggestions that Keane departed the club in acrimonious circumstances, insisting he wanted to commit more time to his duties as Ireland assistant.

Meanwhile, the Corkonian was spotted at QPR’s clash with Everton on Monday in his capacity as Ireland number two.
