VIDEO: The Roots freestyle a song about Andy Murray’s US Open win — to Andy Murray

Before flying back to Britain, the newly-crowned US Open champ popped in to Late Night with Jimmy Fallon.

US OPEN CHAMPION Andy Murray touched back down in Britain this morning but before fleeing the States with his $1.9 million first prize and winner’s trophy, the Scot popped in to Late Night with Jimmy Fallon as a very special guest.

In tribute Fallon’s house band, legendary hip hop outfit The Roots, freestyled this short tribute to Murray. It really had to feature The Proclaimers’ hit I’m Gonna Be, didn’t it?
