SHAMROCK ROVERS’ TITLE hopes may be virtually over after last night, but they at least have the consolation of having a player of Ronan Finn’s calibre in their side
The midfielder scored one of the goals of the season to secure his side an equaliser against Sligo at Tallaght Stadium.
Unfortunately for Finn however, it was not not enough to prevent Rovers from dropping further points in their faltering bid to retain the title they claimed last year, as they still find themselves seven points off the pace at the top.
