Omar comin', yo!: Michael K Williams intoduces Brooklyn Nets with message for Donald Sterling

A man must have a code.

SINCE FRIDAY’S PUBLISHING  of a recording allegedly of of LA Clippers owner Donald Sterling making racist remarks, the NBA has been in the middle of one big backlash.

None were bigger than the sight of the Clippers themselves, warming up for their playoff game with their team logos obscured, but the Brooklyn Nets yesterday came close.

Actor Michael K Williams introduced the Nets before their Game 4 defeat to Toronto Raptors last night and the iconic star of The Wire issued this message: “There is no room in the NBA for Donald Sterling.”

Snoop was there in the spotlight too, she’s the real marksman.

And it’s not just basketball who have been showing a defiant stance against Sterling. The LA Dodgers’ Matt Kemp, who was named in the apparent recording of Sterling, very purposely had his Walk-up music to Michael Jackson’s Black or White.

Tune.
