WHEN THREE ANNOUNCED last week that the prize for their latest competition was a Skype chat with Ireland captain Robbie Keane, we thought it sounded like an odd idea.
However, even we couldn’t have imagined that the resulting conversation would be so painful.
Before Robbie is unveiled, the couple receiving the call in Australia bring out a special guest of their own – no, not Emile Heskey – a cat named Mr Bigglesworth.
When the LA Galaxy striker does join in, he asks “How’s it going over in Australia?” before bringing up everyone’s favourite topic… the weather.

It might be cringe cringe cringe to the begrudgers.. But I think it was brilliant, and fair play to Robbie.. I bet the couple in Australia loved the call and will be talking about it for years to come..
Cringe cringe cringe!
Robbie Keane is a class act on and off the field.
What’s the big deal? Went pretty much as you would expect…is this just an ad for 3?
