Robbie Brady puts Hull 1-0 up from the penalty spot (GIF)

Brady’s fourth goal of the season gives Hull the lead at the KC Stadium.

IRELAND CARETAKER MANAGER Noel King was in the crowd to see Robbie Brady put Hull 1-0 up against West Ham today.

Referee Kevin Friend awarded a penalty in the 11th minute after Brady went down under a light challenge from international team-mate Joey O’Brien.

The winger made no mistake, sending Jussi Jaaskelainen the wrong way to score his fourth goal of the season.

Brady probably won’t be able to play in the next two games because he’s carrying an injury and needs the International window to recover. O’Brien is in the same boat.

Pity Stephen Quinn or David Meyler didn’t start, in that case.

King should have went to see Forest v Derby this morning to watch Reid and Keogh; the latter in lieu of our defensive problems. Reid with the assist for the winner. Keogh sent off for conceding a penalty and probably not a great option. Pity Damien Delaney is injured.

Elsewhere, Shane Duffy was seconds away from keeping a clean sheet on his Yeovil debut while Richard Dunne claimed an 8th clean sheet from 8 games for QPR, who are romping to promotion.
