One person didn't look too impressed by Rob Kearney's drop goal attempt

If this had gone over …

ANYONE WHO WATCHED Ireland’s win against Australia will remember Rob Kearney’s glorious drop goal attempt in the second half.

You were impressed, right? We were certainly impressed.

After all, what’s not to like about a player who gathers the ball near the halfway line and then backs himself to make a shot so audacious he should really be committed?

Well, the RTÉ cameras found someone who didn’t look too impressed — although in this lady’s defence, maybe it’s just a nice variation on the head-in-hands agony of knowing you’ve just been deprived of a glorious sporting moment by a stationary piece of timber.

“I’m with you,” chuckled Ryle Nugent.

It was a great attempt and would like to see him attempt more in tight games.
