MANCHESTER UNITED DEFENDER Rio Ferdinand has big plans for his post-footballing life.
Ferdinand has expressed his desire to become an actor and is keen on one role in particular – as the first black James Bond.
However, he graciously admitted he would also be happy to settle for a less high-profile start to his acting career.
“I’d go for an emotional part, something off the wall,” he said in an interview with FourFourTwo.
“I’ve got too much for a henchman role. I’d need for it to be, I dunno, like Luther.
“Or if they’re looking for a new James Bond, I wouldn’t say that’s out of my comfort zone at all.”
So what do you think? Would Rio make a good James Bond? Let us know in the comments below.
Well done Seamus. You are doing us proud.

Great to see that loyalty, but he deserved trophies
They played Peterborough, who have struggled to score goals recently and it was a home fixture. There’s a bigger test waiting on Wednesday. Let’s see if they can get a tune out of the players then. Villa are a different beast altogether.
