The Belgian international was controversially sent off against Tottenham today.

CHRISTIAN BENTEKE WAS sent off in controversial circumstances for Aston Villa today.

Leading 1-0 against Tottenham, Benteke brushed his hand aggressively against Ryan Mason and was subsequently punished for his actions, with Spurs then equalising through Nacer Chadli, before Harry Kane made it 2-1 with a deflected free-kick.
