GREEK SUPER LEAGUE referee Tasos Kakos took charge of OFI Crete v Skoda Xanthi and, with the game still scoreless midway through the first half, the man in the middle came up with this sumptuous back-heel to put the Crete striker clean through on goal for a one-on-one with the goalkeeper.
Fortunately (or unfortunately depending on how you look at it), his effort didn’t match the accidental pass and Kakos was spared from what would have been a barrage of verbal abuse from the opposing players and fans.
