Real Madrid want to sign Gareth Bale for a world record fee of £85million - reports

But Spurs insist they won’t sell him.

WITH THREE YEARS remaining on Gareth Bale’s contract, the task of luring him away from Tottenham was always going to be an arduous one.

However, Real Madrid seem determined to get their man, with a report in the Sunday Times today indicating the Spanish club are willing to spend as much as £85million to get their man.

Should the move take place, it would represent a world record transfer fee – comfortably beating Ronaldo’s £80m move from Manchester United to Real Madrid into second place.

Nevertheless, it remains to be seen if Tottenham will even accept the rumoured bid, with the Telegraph today reporting that Spurs insist Bale is not for sale at any price.

Ronaldo was twice the player Bale is today when he left Man utd. Scoring 40 + goals a season winning a champions league, a few leagues and a couple of cups. Not to mention a ballin dor.
How is bale worth 5 million more. Football is gone mad….

I’d say cash in at that price. 85 mill will buy an awful lot of players if they want to challenge for champions league. No gaurantee bale will be this good year in year out. Could be worth an awful lot less at end of his contract

If true spurs should bite their hands off he’s good but he will eventually leave and an offer for triple his value won’t cone along again

A Madrid frontline of Ronaldo, Bale and Suarez would be frightening.
Spurs shod take the money along with Di Maria and Higuain.
