Ready to go: Monaghan name team to face Antrim

Eoin Lennon and Tommy Freeman have both been ruled out of the county’s Ulster SFC clash.

MONAGHAN HAVE CONFIRMED their team to play Antrim in the Ulster SFC encounter with Antrim in Clones this weekend.

Both Eoin Lennon and Tommy Freeman will miss out through injury, while Dick Clerkin and Peter Dooley will start in midfield, and Paul Finlay has been given the nod at full forward.

Meanwhile, Karl O’Connell and Matthew McKenna both make their Championship debuts.

Speaking ahead of the game, manager Eamonn McEneaney said:

“This Sunday is about who wants it most. The boys have shown a great appetite since the National League. I couldn’t compliment them enough on their attitude.”

The game kicks off at 3.30pm.
