Gentleman thief strikes again: Houghton going strong as a Mo Bro

The former Liverpool and Ireland midfielder is doing his utmost to overtake Padraig Harrington in our Movember power rankings.

RAY HOUGHTON IS not going to give up without a fight.

The former Liverpool and Ireland midfielder was no doubt crestfallen when he learned Padraig Harrington was still leading TheScore.ie Movember power rankings.

Houghton shot into our top 10 when he appeared on RTÉ’s Champions League coverage during the week.

Harrington’s handlebars have kept him in the lead so Houghton appeared on the nation’s televisions again to make a push for top spot.

The Scot was a pundit on Premier Soccer Saturday and looked at ease with a moustache-sporting look that spawned the nickname ‘gentleman thief’.

Harrington is currently competing in the DP World Tour Championship in Dubai.

He is 10-under going into the fourth round but a final round charge could splash his ‘mo’ across newspapers and websites the world over and trump his sporting rival.
