Why didn't you just go home, ball? Golfer has nightmare four-putt from 3 feet

Its bags were packed — but Raphael Jacquelin’s ball was too good for its home.

IF YOU’RE CURIOUS about the green speeds at the French Open this week, ask Raphael Jacquelin.

The Frenchman had one of those ground-please-swallow-me moments when he four-putted from inside three feet yesterday.

It turned what should have been a routine par four on the 17th hole into a nightmare triple bogey.

Jacquelin barely touched his first putt but could only watch in horror as it skated off the left edge of the cup and raced another three feet past.

He missed the putt back… and the next one… before finally tapping in a tiddler to end the horror show.

We’ve all been there Raphael — except when we do it, it isn’t live on TV and there isn’t thousands of euro on the line.

Happy knows how you feel too:
