Rafa's to-do list: 8 things we hope Benitez does before Chelsea sack him

We always fancied a go on Roman’s yacht.

CHELSEA SAY IT’S “business as usual” around Stamford Bridge this morning but it looks like Rafa Benitez’s days as “interim manager” may be numbered.

In a post-match tirade last night, the Spaniard confirmed that he will be walking away at the end of the season. That’s if Roman Abramovich doesn’t fire him first.

Just in case he’s shown the door before May, here’s a to-do list of things we’d like to see Rafa do.

1. Make a banner of his own.

A picture of Luis Garcia and the caption “It was over the line” should do the trick.

2. Play Hilario in goal.

Make him wear Cech’s hat.

3. Answer all future questions with “I know nothing.”

They want a Spanish waiter? Give them a Spanish waiter.

4. Reveal himself to be a double-agent.

It’ll probably go down something like this (Liverpool tracksuit optional).

5. Nick all of the plastic flags

The Europa League nights will be no craic without them.

6. Tell Lamps he prefers Alex Jones to Christine Bleakley.

One Show presenters are a divisive topic in the Chelsea dressing room.

7. Take Roman’s yacht for a spin.

It cost a reported $500 million, so it’d be a shame if anything happened to it.

8. Win the Europa League. Ban John Terry from the celebrations.

Although if he wins the Europa League, he’ll probably get a new contract. And then get sacked a few months later. Chelsea are funny like that.
