THERE HAS BEEN increased speculation about the vacant Ireland manager’s job, with a number of new names today linked with the post.
FAI chief executive John Delaney has previously spoken about how Giovanni Trapattoni raised the profile of the job, claiming there was more interest than ever in the position, and The Irish Independent today has suggested a number of names that are in with a shout of taking the vacant post.
Carlos Queiroz, Rene Meulensteen and Guus Hiddink are among the people that have described as possible contenders. The former two are understood to have expressed an interest in undertaking the role, whereas Hiddink is still considered a long shot.
With that in mind, who would you prefer to see installed?
