MEATH HAVE BEEN handed a tough assignment in the third round of All-Ireland Senior Football Championship qualifiers after being drawn against Leinster rivals Kildare on Sunday evening. Another eye catching tie will see Tyrone take on the winners of the Armagh v Wicklow replay.
There are also several interesting potential clashes in Round 4 of the qualifiers with a possible replay of last September’s All-Ireland final on the cards as should Down overcome Antrim in their third round fixture, they will face Cork at the next stage.
Defeated Leinster finalists Wexford will play either Limerick or Waterford, while the winners of the Meath v Kildare clash will line up against the losers of the Ulster Final – either Donegal or Derry. Round 3 ties are due to be played next weekend, with Round 4 matches down for decision the following weekend.

Was at the match against Galway yesterday, we need to be waaaaaaay better than that show yesterday to have a hope. First 20 minutes they played well then it went downhill, forwards were all over the place. Fair play to the backs though they were strong.
It was a big help that Galway couldn’t hit a barn door either. A very depressing victory yesterday, major improvements needed.
