Dunne and Doyle in the spotlight as Martin O'Neill heads to watch QPR this weekend

Ireland’s management will take in at least three games this weekend before naming squad to face Serbia.

MARTIN O’NEILL WILL take a close look at Richard Dunne and Kevin Doyle this weekend before he names his squad to face Serbia.

The Ireland boss will be at Loftus Road for tomorrow’s Championship clash between QPR and Reading, where he will also hope to see Alex Pearce in action.

The defender was sent off nine minutes into Reading’s defeat against Sheffield Wednesday but his red card was overturned on appeal and he is likely to return in defence.

The other Irish international in Nigel Adkins’ squad, Stephen Kelly, has fallen out of favour in recent weeks and may have to make do with a place on the bench.

O’Neill is also expected to take in a game today.

Meanwhile, Ireland assistant Roy Keane will be on TV duty for two FA Cup clashes this weekend.

Keane will be at the Etihad Stadium this evening for Manchester City v Chelsea, and then will run the rule over Everton’s strong Irish contingent when they host Swansea at lunchtime tomorrow.

O’Neill will name his squad for the Serbia friendly at a press conference in Limerick on Thursday.
