THE RABODIRECT PRO12 has taken its fair share of criticism as a competition over the last number of years, but this weekend’s final between Leinster and Glasgow has the potential to be a superb encounter.
Leinster’s scrum strength, Glasgow’s ability to score from turnover situations, both sides’ aggressive line speed in defence; there are ideal ingredients for a memorable game all over the pitch.
The Warriors are on a nine-game winning streak, but Leinster were the last team to beat them, winning 28-25 at the RDS back in March. Glasgow won the rivals’ other meeting this season, a 12-6 success at Scotstoun in September.
Last season’s semi-final between these sides was a superb clash, and we’re hoping for more of the same on Saturday.
