1. Choose a destination that’s easy to get to
A handy flight across the pond to Dublin for the weekend is still proving as popular as it was a couple of decades ago with Premier League clubs.

Partly for the novelty factor, dressing up is also a hand way to mingle in nightclubs without being outed as a professional player. If it’s a private party smart dress is probably best.
3. Make sure to have plenty of ‘banter’
A spot of random busking will go down well with team-mates and passers-by alike.

There will come a time in the night when the mic is opened up to the floor so have a tune or two ready in the back pocket.
