CONOR MURRAY AND Jonny Sexton both gave displays that were widely regarded as unconvincing against USA on Sunday.
As a result, many have called for Eoin Reddan and in particular, Ronan O’Gara, to start against the Aussies on Saturday, including ex-Ireland international Rob Henderson.
While O’Gara is the form player, Sexton has proven he is a man for the big occasion before.
Meanwhile, Murray’s performance on Sunday raised question marks over whether he is yet ready to be thrown into the deep end, especially when a player as experienced as Reddan is available.
However, few would argue that Murray was Ireland’s only below-par performer against the Americans, so does he deserve a second chance?
