YOU MAY HAVE heard a whisper or two about the transfer window reopening this week?

Well, as sure as Jim White will be mainlining the Vick’s vapo-rub to be in full throat for the window to SLAM SHUT on January 31st, there will be lots of lovely money exchanged for the great, the good and the Joe Coles of the market.

Will Liverpool finally find a foil for Luis Suarez? Is Fergie for real when he says that Manchester United will not buy anyone? Will Arsene take the padlock off that change purse?

All will be revealed in the coming month, but the question we’d like you to answer is the following…

Which club will be the biggest spenders this January?

  • Chelsea seems to have 3 players tagged to buy. If you believe press then arsenal have a big chest to spend. United might that young palace lad.
Liverpool look like they will overspend on English talent. No one else mentioned.
City who knows, pato is gone and falcao doesn’t want to move. Money is there but manager is the big problem not the squad.

  • Can’t see Utd buying any players in January if fergie says no then it’s no normally the only exception is if he goes for Wesley snider and a deal worked out over wages- if snider is looking at England then can’t see fergie letting him join a rival if snider looks to b heading for another European club then he may let him go hard to call

Its seems Ferguson is the dominion of all, even players at other clubs who have nothing to do with him. The sheer arrogance from United supporters is astonishing at times even by their lofty standards.

    • If united sign him I’d be genuinely shocked! Whilst his quality is undoubted he plays too far forward to solve any central midfield problems and his ideal position is well stocked with Rooney and Kagawa. Also, Fergie does not like January, particularly for big signings, if united move, and that’s a big if, I’d imagine it would be for a prospect for the future.
