Poll: How many points will Ireland get out of their next two games?

First up is Sweden tonight before Austria make the trip to Dublin.

THE SUB ZERO temperatures of Stockholm’s Friends Arena is the venue for Ireland’s World Cup qualifier tonight.

Giovanni Trapattoni’s team take on the Scandinavians then host Austria at the Aviva Stadium on Tuesday as they bid to earn a place-off place for Brazil 2014.

Avoiding defeat is essential to keep our hopes alive and while two wins is a bit much to expect, Ireland should be aiming for four points to put themselves in position to finish runner-up.

So how do you think they will fare in the two games?

Poll Results:

1 point (draw and a defeat) (206)
3 points (win and a loss) (152)
2 points (two draws) (144)
0 points (two defeats) (139)
4 points (win and a draw) (88)
6 points (two wins) (19)
