Wenger is an excellent manager. How many managers can rebuild a team almost every 2 seasons without buying into the increasingly overinflated transfer market? He’s at the start of what could be a team of solid, long-term players that probably won’t turn their backs on the club (as they’re home-grown, whereas foreign players tend to be just mercenaries).

He definitely needs to sell/murder the dead weight (ie. Arshavin, who I completely forgot existed until the other day) and bring in players who aren’t afraid to work hard to force him into a selection headache.

…and I’m a United fan! Yeah, Arsenal are nowhere near United’s level at the moment, but they have to start somewhere!
