BATH’S 45-0 victory over Leicester in the Aviva Premiership was one of the most notable results of the weekend in European rugby, and all the better for a try from 36-year-old Peter Stringer.
The former Munster scrum-half came off the bench during the rout, making his third appearance of the season and demonstrating that he is as fit and sharp as ever.
Stringer scored the final try of the game, getting on the end of a sweeping Bath move that he kick-started himself by popping a loose ball to rampaging wing Semesa Rokoduguni, who broke the Leicester line.
