Ulster name Payne opposite O'Driscoll as Leinster prefer Madigan for number 10

Here are the teams for tomorrow’s big inter-provincial clash in Ravenhill.

ULSTER COACH MARK Anscombe has selected Jared Payne at outside centre on his return from suspension.

The Kiwi has not played since being red carded in the fourth minute of the Heineken Cup quarter-final defeat to Saracens. The move from fullback to midfield means that Darren Cave is relegated to the replacements bench.

Ulster boast a second Ireland international in reserve as Dan Tuohy has been held in reserve allowing Iain Henderson to partner Johann Muller in the second row.

In front of the retiring Springbok will be tighthead Andrew Warwick, selected due to injury to John Afoa and Declan Fitzpatrick.

Leinster coach Matt O’Connor’s big call continues to be in the number 10 jersey, and for this inter-provincial clash he has placed the reins into the hands of Ian Madigan.

The versatile half-back will be partnered by Isaac Boss as Eoin Reddan has failed to recover from injury in time for the trip to Ravenhill.

Luke McGrath and Jimmy Gopperth will provide the back-up from the bench where there is also a return to the matchday squad for Luke Fitzgerald.
