FABIO CANNAVARO’S TEAM got the better of Luis Figo and his ex-pros during yesterday’s Global Legends Series in Bangkok.
The Italian’s side, which featured the likes of Patrick Kluivert, Christian Karembeu and Michael Owen, won out 8-5 with former Manchester United and England midfielder Paul Scholes proving he hasn’t lost it.
First, he caught ex-Arsenal goalkeeper Jens Lehmann off his line with a delicate chip before blasting past the German from 18 yards out.
However, Michel Salgado, once of Real Madrid, scored the goal of the game with a chest and overhead combo which Rivaldo would be proud of.
