Gone, not forgotten: yesterday’s big-screen tribute to Páidí and Heffo

Two of the GAA’s most iconic figures were remembered before yesterday’s Croke Park classic.

YESTERDAY’S ALL-IRELAND semi-final between Dublin and Kerry had everything — everything except for two of the giants who helped make the historic rivalry so special: Páidí Ó Sé and Kevin Heffernan.

Ó Sé and Heffernan were remembered in this video shown on the Croke Park big screens shortly before throw-in yesterday. The best tribute of all, however, was the classic game which followed.
